Community Service
Service experiences that build empathy, leadership and responsibility while connecting athletes with the communities around them.
What we do
Built into the complete journey
Highlights uses community service as a practical part of leadership development. Athletes learn to contribute, collaborate and recognize their responsibility beyond sport. Participation can be documented as part of the athlete's complete development record. The emphasis is on showing up with purpose, working respectfully with others and reflecting on what service teaches about empathy, initiative and the role an athlete can play within a wider community.
What athletes develop
- Organized service activities
- Participation and hours tracking
- Reflection and leadership
- Contribution beyond the field
How it connects
Community participation builds the character and personal responsibility that support leadership, family trust and readiness for life beyond competition.
